Habdasová, Alexandra ; Čížková, Věra (referee) ; Hanel, Lubomír (referee)
CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) is a modern form of interdisciplinary teaching linking teaching subject and language teaching. The work builds on the thesis, in which I created and Science worksheets in English language. The aim of the thesis was to create, publish and verify in practice a complex CD with interactive materials for teaching zoology and supplementary materials for teachers introducing CLIL into the classroom. The teaching materials include a lot of pictures, games and interactive exercises that can enrich teaching biology in primary and secondary schools. This work summarizes the possibilities of introducing CLIL into biology, analyzes each part of the tutorial CD and evaluates the effectiveness by primary and secondary schools teachers. The obtained data were evaluated using a questionnaire survey, which shows that CLIL method in the Moravian - Silesian region is only marginally extended, the main limiting factor for introducing CLIL method into practice is an inadequate methodological support.
